This is the first prototype I built of my own wall clock design.
Growing up in my parents house in which all walls were covered with at least one antique pendulum wall clock, I decided to come up with my own design of a modern wall clock as a side project. My main inspiration derived from Nathan George Horwitt's Museum clock for Howard Miller on the one hand; on the other it derived from Dieter Rams' wall and alarm clocks designed for Braun.
It is entirely hand made—built from aluminum and brass. It comes with an ultra silent UTC800 quartz clockwork.
Special thanks go to Siegfried Lindemann for the framework and Simon Steinberger and Simon Schindele from A Gesture Of for the valuable feedback and support.
